The chicken is out of this world. Their pricing is very reasonable. The owner and staff are very friendly.

Its always a good sign when a place has a line, especially when the line moves fast. We had the signature chicken, plus a steak kebab and pork chops. Chicken was a larger portion than I expected, plenty moist. The pork chop was great. There were a few small tables and a clean restroom, making this a great find for an on-the-road meal.

Not the best Peruvian restaurant, but is the only choice we have in Aberdeen. Unless you want to go to Baltimore and get some great Peruvian food and service. The chicken is good but not great, the staff needs to learn customer service. The staff is rude, inpatient, and unfriendly.

I love going here but today my partner went to get my usual order and he came back with something totally different. I don’t know if it’s because he’s not Spanish like myself but he was denied extra green sauce (where usually I’m given handfuls of) and instead of being offered fresh yuca fries or any other option he was given rice and beans only (I particularly am not a huge fan of the beans I just prefer a style more native to my culture). So when he returned home from a long day of work he came not carrying the warm gesture for his pregnant partner but a slopped together mess of something I’ve never ordered before with outright denial of anything resembling what I normally get. Definitely puts me off coming back for awhile.

The food is absolutely delicious. I got the 1/2 chicken (rotisserie with charcoal) with rice and beans and plantains. The meat was seasoned really well and was tender. Rice and beans with plantains were the perfect compliment. Service was quick and professional. I went there on a Thursday afternoon and the place was pretty busy which was a good sign. I'd take a trip out to Maryland again and try some of the other dishes for sure.

I tried this restaurant because I was told that their food is great. So, I was excited to try their food. I order the steak kebab with rice and red beans. The rice and beans were great, however, the steak kebab was not good at all. It tasted like it went bad. When I inform them about the steak they took a while to fully understand what I was telling them and they exchange it to chicken. The chicken was great. But I don't think I will be visiting this store anytime again.

I love this place!! The food is outstanding and the prices are great! I feed 7 people on the family meal#2. Less than $45!! And that's for 2 whole chickens and 6 very large sides! The chicken is of course the star, but the dips? Omg I have to order extra because they are so unique and delicious! The green is spicy and my favorite. I love mixing a little of it in to the rice!! The yellow is good too, and I use it between spicy bites to cool of my mouth. I always get the rice for atleast 2 sides, yucca for the kids, and green beans. I have never got a bad meal from here, as they are always consistently good. Its definitely a meal you will crave after just 1 trip!

Meh. I had shrimp something. The others liked it. But it seemed disorderly and that's just not my thing. Not recommended.

Great tasting chicken and sides for the price. Chicken is super good and juicy right out of the rotisserie. Staff could learn some manners however and that is the only downside. Very snappy, and just not as nice as one would expect. Product may be great but customer service goes a long way.

Food is good, they need to be nice to their customers. We asked a question and the guy seemed to get an attitude. Customers can always take their business elsewhere if you are rude to them.

This place is great. I had the chicken, rice and beans and it was delicious, maybe a little bit too salty for some. As a Truck driver, I wish that I could find a place like that on the road every day. Love it!

This is my favorite chicken place in Aberdeen, Maryland. Dining options are pretty poor near the base, but this place is pretty unique and delicious. Ordering can be a bit quirky at times, but the food is a good value and delicious

Had the big day burrito. It was meh. It was as big as a chipotle burrito and about the same price. But it took forever to get and was medicore. I should have gotten the quarter chicken meal. That looked better and was super fast as I watched others order it.

Not a chain! Unique and delicious. I recommend you start with thier chicken dishes. Try the 1/4 or 1/2 chicken. Sides are also great. Try their yellow sauce with anything. So good.

Great chicken that is cooked fresh. This place seems to be a local version of something similar to nandos Peri Peri, except much better. They don't fall back on drowning the chicken in sauce. Prices are very reasonable and food arrives quickly. A great location for a quick lunch

We waited for our food to be cooked. Everyone comes in and out. We're waiting for almost 40 minutes. Then, the lady prepared our box and just little of rice and the meat. The food was just stuff on the top of each other very sloppy.

Fantastic food and quick service. The rotisserie roasted chicken is to die for, and some unique sides that are also very good (yucca fries, roasted plantain). Highly recommended.

This is a place for no-nonsense, no-frills good food. There are over 20 choices of entrees, most of which come with two sides but some that specify the sides. Meat choices include beef (including beef heart), chicken, pork, fish, and lamb. My chicken dish was excellent, as were the fried bananas that I ordered as one of my sides.You order at the counter either as take-out or eat-in, and if eat in the tables are plain but clean. Cutlery is plastic. Servings are more than ample, and flavors are great. Most prices are undder $14, some under $10. This is a GREAT place!!!

Do yourself and stop in. If you have never tried this style of chicken then you are truly missing out. This is a hidden gem and recently renovated to match the quality of the food. The staff is extremely friendly and they genuinely care about service and quality. If I could give 6 stars i would, the value and quality can't be beat

Super Chicken Rico is great food for a decent price. I normally order a half chicken, which is a generous amount of food. For sides, I like their green beans, though most of their sides are great, so I switch up my second side to be Spanish rice, plantains, or beans depending on what sounds good at the counter. SCR also has the "big fat burrito", which is basically heaven in a tortilla. It's a bit less food than the half chicken, but still definitely enough for lunch. Do keep in mind that the burrito does take a bit longer to come out of the kitchen than when you order their chicken with sides.

No fancy tablecloths here. Just food in a throwaway container. But it's delicious. A rare find near APG. And they do a big lunch rush but handle it well by moving customers through. Hint: get the 1/2 chicken it's the best for your buck.

First visit for my wife and I to Super Chicken Rico's in Aberdeen, MD. My son recommended it. The food was awesome! The service was great too! We will be back again! We tried different menu items and were pleased with each one!

Great place for lunch. Get here early before the lunch rush around 1130. Don't bother with anything else other than the quarter or half chicken. This place would be better if they had fountain soda rather than the limited can selection.
